June 28th 1st Wall Signing

Pat and Joel Ford came up to sign our walls. They were the first to do so. If you can't come by personally, send a note and we'll post it to the walls. MOVING FORWARD>>>>

June 23rd The roof goes up!

The trusses were delivered and crane lifted into place. Now they are being placed upright and supported. I'm busy selecting roof tiles and thinking ahead to appliances. Lots of time and money. It seems like everything costs $10,000 or more.

June 15th Interior walls and patios.

Today we poured the garage, patios and columns. Richard and Tim were putting up the interior walls. It actually is getting to look like there will be rooms. Of course, I already want to move walls around.

June 9th, The exterior walls are finished.

The exterior walls were filled with concrete and the interior walls are ready to stand up. Next comes the roof after the top plates are finished. It's beginning to look like a real house. Nick is back in the trenches like he was when we were building our addition.

June 2, 2009 The Full View

You can actually see our house from a distance. The crew is putting things together quickly and Richard is getting things ready for the roof trusses. The problem will be getting 53 ft. trusses onto our job site. Click on the pictures for a better look.
