Feb. 27th I Guess You Could Call It Progress

There are still massive boulders hidden under the first few inches of dirt. They need to be moved for footings and underground piping. Therefore, more blasting. No news from the county for our plan approval. We Wait.

Feb. 16, 2009 Something to think about.

Several times in the past few weeks I have come across this thought: We do not invite Jesus into "our" home to be our guest, He invites us to live in "HIS" home while we are here. Everything we have comes from His grace and mercy. This morning I read this thought again at the end of the 23rd Psalm, and I saw it in a different light. "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" It does not say, after I die. That means now and forever. HE even has the keys to the motor home!

PROGRESS AT LAST!

These guys are drilling holes for dynamite. The last rocks are being blasted and the pad will be graded one more time. Then we will lay out the perimeter of the house. The plans are done and submitted to plan check at the county. I'm so excited. The rain and mud are getting to us. It is supposed to rain for the next whole week. YUCK.

Sunrise February 5, 2009

At first, when I look out the bedroom window, it seems like I'm on vacation in the desert. Then I get up and see where I really am. It is still a beautiful sunrise. The picture does not do it justice. I started working with a cabinet maker to get the kitchen cupboards designed. The task ahead of us is overwhelming. There's 10,000 choices for faucets! I wish I had the money to hire someone to make all those decisions. I will tackle them one at a time. If anyone has advice on kitchens please email me. We are still waiting for the plans to be finished. I am giving the Lord the keys to my house, He is the master planner.

February 2, 2009

My brother-in-law, Richard called this morning to share that he went back to church yesterday. He wanted to thank God for all his blessings during their recent crisis. I told him he should have let us know to pray for specific needs. The Strizver's have added an unlimited minutes plan to their direct line to the Lord. We can always add your requests on to our long list, for free. We also like to hear the answers to prayers and the miracles He has been sending your way. It makes us happy and we need happy right now. It also encourages others. My email is jstrizver@gmail.com.
Have a HAPPY DAY with Jesus, and make a difference!
